The Global Computing Consortium (GCC) makes its debut at WAIC 2025: Leading the Transformation of the Intelligent Computing Industry with an Open Ecosystem

On July 29, the four-day 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) concluded successfully in Shanghai. As China's first international industrial and standardization organization in the computing field, the Global Computing Consortium (GCC) made a heavyweight appearance at the exhibition, becoming one of the focuses in the Expo Center exhibition area. Through ecological collaboration and value output, it painted a prosperous picture of the global industrial ecosystem.

During the exhibition, GCC deeply responded to the AI-driven intelligent computing industry transformation: through various demonstrations such as peer-to-peer computing architecture and liquid cooling vs. air cooling solutions, combined with more than 20 key achievements of the alliance, it intuitively presented technological breakthroughs and industrial contributions; built a resource docking platform, attracting more than 30 potential partners to connect for cooperation, promoting the intelligent computing ecosystem to advance from "aggregation" to "value co-creation", and delivering clear development direction leadership.

According to statistics, more than 1,000 industry visitors visited the GCC exhibition area for interaction during the exhibition. This "value show" of the intelligent computing ecosystem not only demonstrated the collaborative achievements of GCC in its first year of establishment, but also injected momentum into the collaborative development of the global computing power industry with practical actions, anchoring a new course for the ecological development of the intelligent computing industry.

With the main theme of "New Architecture · New Standards · New Ecosystem", the GCC booth focused on the progress of 9 branches and various industrial special achievements, systematically demonstrating the layout and effectiveness of the alliance ecosystem from "gathering sand into a tower" to "industrial collaboration", presenting the value accumulation and growth of the alliance since its first anniversary, and helping industry, university and research circles efficiently obtain cutting-edge industry information.

2.Intelligent Computing: Anchoring Scene Implementation, Building Intelligent Computing Value Closed Loop

At the GCC intelligent computing layout exhibition section, the GCC Intelligent Computing Industry Development Committee focused on the value of intelligent computing scene implementation, deeply aligned with the theme of the WAIC conference, and built a closed loop of "technology input - scene implementation - value output". The display of "HiF8 floating-point data format", one of the annual key directions of intelligent computing DG, injected key support, intuitively presenting the collaborative effects of intelligent computing ecosystem technology application and industrial empowerment, attracting many overseas visitors to stop and communicate, becoming an interactive window for global sharing of intelligent computing innovation achievements and exploring industrial opportunities together.

3.Open Liquid Cooling: Innovation in Infrastructure, Assisting Intelligent Computing Development

At the open liquid cooling exhibition section of the WAIC exhibition, the GCC Liquid Cooling Special Committee appeared with the "Double Zero Action" and a new generation of computing infrastructure solutions, focusing on building a "hard support" for the intelligent computing ecosystem. In addition, through the display of liquid cooling technology solutions, it conveyed the progress of efficient and green computing power base construction; through the "Double Zero Action" associated with the underlying development of intelligent computing DC, it presented the full-chain ecological value of GCC extending from "application empowerment" to "infrastructure foundation", injecting impetus into the development of the intelligent computing industry and supporting the sustainable development of the industry.

In addition, GCC also set up an interactive turntable, giving away thousands of gifts, attracting more than a thousand domestic and foreign ecological partners to learn about the alliance's mission and vision. Many industry partners expressed their desire to join the alliance after visiting the GCC booth, and work with GCC to carry out further exchanges and cooperation.
