On July 22, 2025, the Global Computing Consortium (GCC for short) held its first member representative congress grandly in Chengdu. After the previous selection by member units, 58 units and individuals were elected as the first batch of GCC member representatives, among which 48 representatives attended this meeting. At the congress, the election results of the first batch of member representatives were announced, and the representatives elected 10 new members to the first council.

On the same day, the sixth meeting of the first council of GCC was also held as scheduled. Chairman Jin Hai and all new and old council members gathered together. During the meeting, they listened to the summary of the alliance's work in the first half of 2025 and the development plan for the second half of the year. Focusing on key business areas, they brainstormed and jointly drew the grand blueprint for the future development of GCC.


  • The member representative meeting was efficient and compliant, and the governance system entered a new stage since its establishment.


Since its establishment, the Global Computing Alliance has always focused on computing technology innovation and industrial application, and has been committed to promoting the construction of the global computing ecosystem. In the first year of its establishment, the alliance's influence has continuously increased, covering leading enterprises in the computing industry, research institutions, and representative users from the internet, finance, and other industries.


The alliance strictly followed the "Global Computing Alliance Charter" and the "Global Computing Alliance Organizational Management Measures", with the active participation of member units, efficiently completed the election of representatives for the first member representative meeting. This election was transparent, fair, and in accordance with procedures, fully demonstrating the democratic decision-making and scientific governance of the alliance.


The convening of this member representative meeting marked that the governance system of GCC has entered a new stage, injecting new vitality into the coordinated development of the global computing industry. Representatives from member units from all over the world gathered together through a combination of online and offline methods, initiated the first term of member representative duties, and elected new council members at the meeting.

  • The council's achievements were fruitful, and consensus was gathered to deepen collaboration. 

First, the new council members introduced themselves and expressed their sincere willingness as new council units to make unique contributions to the future development of the alliance.

Subsequently, the secretariat reported on the summary of the alliance's work in the first half of the year and the development plan for the second half of the year, and conducted a semi-annual review of various tasks, including the business operations of branches, from multiple perspectives to analyze business progress and challenges. The council members present at the meeting provided high-level guidance on the current development status and key business directions of the alliance.
This council meeting clarified the path for the next steps of the Global Computing Alliance in various aspects such as technology advancement and industrial collaboration. We believe that with the joint efforts of all parties, the Global Computing Alliance will shine even more brightly in the computing field and contribute more to the development of the global industry.
