Open AI Infra Community Unveils a Series of Major Achievements to Build an Open and Innovative Ecosystem for AI Computing Infrastructure
On July 3, the "SuperPod and GW-Class AIDC Technology Forum and Open AI Infra Community Mid-Year Working Meeting," guided by the Global Computing Consortium (GCC) and hosted by the GCC-Open AI Infra Community (OAII), was successfully held. The event focused on key AI infrastructure technologies including SuperPods, GW-class AI data centers (AIDCs), liquid cooling, DC 800V power supply and distribution, and high-speed interconnect. The event released five technical specifications and two research reports, officially launched the OPEN NPO project, and held an appointment ceremony for community project managers — further improving the AI infrastructure standards system and open collaboration innovation mechanism, and injecting new momentum into high-quality industry development.

GCC-OAII Community Debuts at Two Major Industry Events! Joint CGC & CEIC Kick-Off Ceremony Held at the Mid-Year Meeting
On July 3, at the 2026 Mid-Year Meeting of the GCC-Open AI Infra (OAII) Community, the joint kick-off ceremony was held for the OAII Community's appearance at the 2026 Global Computing Conference (CGC) and the 2026 Consumer Electronics Innovation Conference (CEIC). Representatives from the CGC and CEIC project teams, the OAII Community Management Committee and Secretariat, and industry chain enterprises attended the ceremony. The ceremony officially announced that the OAII Community will make a full-scale presence at both flagship industry exhibitions in the second half of the year, and delivered on-site briefings on the core plans for each event.

On June 13, the "Smart Stone City · Innovation Together" Showcase Conference on Power Intelligent Inspection Achievements Based on Domestic AI Computing Architecture was successfully held in Shihezi, Xinjiang. The event marked the launch of the first power-industry operator library pilot built on Ascend CANN, jointly developed by the Intelligent Computing Industry Development Group (ICIDG) of the Global Computing Consortium (GCC) and its member, Hangzhou Tianking Technology Co., Ltd. Centered on this pilot, the GCC ICIDG shared joint industry practices and a co-construction plan covering the domestic computing ecosystem, the implementation of intelligent computing in industry, and the joint development of industry operator libraries.

The activities comprehensively showcased the latest technical progress and mature ecosystem developments of HiFloat for AI training and inference scenarios to the European HPC and AI industry and academic communities.

The symposium focused on technical challenges of confidential computing for large models, innovative solutions across multiple scenarios, and industry trends, sharing cutting-edge research and practical case studies. It aimed to build industry consensus and empower industrial development for compliant AI security deployment and the construction of trusted computing power ecosystems.
