On November 25,2025, GCC made its debut as a Pinnacle Partner at the PIKOM LEAD 2025 summit in Kuala Lumpur, emerging as one of the most prominent international partners. PIKOM, Malaysia's most influential IT association with over 40 years of history and more than 4,000 member organizations, brought together global tech leaders, innovators, and policymakers at this C-level event to explore the future of digital economy development.
At the summit, Malaysia's Minister of Digital Affairs Gobind Singh Deo underscored in his address that meaningful digital transformation requires close collaboration among the government, industry, and businesses. He highlighted that the leaders and innovators gathered here demonstrate Malaysia's unwavering commitment to digital advancement, emphasizing that truly impactful innovations stem from robust partnerships. As the vision of "becoming an AI nation by 2030" progresses, the Malaysian government will maintain an open-door policy to incorporate constructive industry feedback, refine policies and incentives, and ensure steady progress in the digital agenda to benefit broader societal groups. He called on all stakeholders to embrace the digital era's transformation, jointly building a resilient and future-oriented AI development path for Malaysia.
At the main forum, Hu Wenbiao, Director of International Ecosystem Development at GCC, delivered a keynote speech. He shared GCC's global expertise in computing and digital infrastructure, along with its vision for international collaboration, and emphasized the organization's commitment to fostering substantive ecosystem partnerships with Malaysia across multiple sectors. Subsequently, GCC and PIKOM officially launched the "Joint Hub," a collaborative initiative between the two associations. This hub aims to introduce Malaysia to a broader range of technical resources, international ecosystem partners, and business networking opportunities, thereby facilitating the local market's deeper integration into the global digital economy.

During the subsequent panel discussion, GCC fulfilled its commitment to promoting domestic ecosystem development by collaborating with member companies to participate in this high-profile event. Three GCC-invited members—Huakun Zhenyu, Sangfor and xFusion—engaged in discussions alongside industry representatives from Malaysia and other countries/regions. Focusing on topics such as AI applications, advanced computing capacity building, industry digitalization, and regional market demands, participants shared practical experiences and insights. These exchanges deepened mutual understanding between Chinese and Malaysian enterprises while establishing new foundations for potential future collaborations.

On November 27, following the meeting, the GCC team visited the PIKOM office to officially inaugurate the Joint Hub, marking the transition of bilateral cooperation from the summit phase to the implementation phase. The center will serve as a collaborative platform for both parties, facilitating technical cooperation, business matchmaking, ecosystem research, and cross-border project consultations, while further strengthening Malaysia's pivotal role in the regional computing and digital ecosystem.
At the PIKOM LEAD 2025, GCC not only deepened its ties with Malaysia's tech ecosystem but also established a more stable and scalable collaboration framework through the launch of the Joint Hub. By inviting ecosystem enterprises to participate in discussions, it created more direct and pragmatic communication channels between Chinese and Malaysian businesses. As the cooperation mechanism advances, the exchange space between both sides in advanced computing, AI applications, corporate internationalization, and digital industry ecosystems is rapidly expanding, laying a solid foundation for broader and deeper collaboration in the future.
