On July 3, at the 2026 Mid-Year Meeting of the GCC-Open AI Infra (OAII) Community, the joint kick-off ceremony was held for the OAII Community's appearance at the 2026 Global Computing Conference (CGC) and the 2026 Consumer Electronics Innovation Conference (CEIC). Representatives from the CGC and CEIC project teams, the OAII Community Management Committee and Secretariat, and industry chain enterprises attended the ceremony. The ceremony officially announced that the OAII Community will make a full-scale presence at both flagship industry exhibitions in the second half of the year, and delivered on-site briefings on the core plans for each event.
Both CGC and CEIC are flagship exhibition projects designed and organized by the Global Computing Consortium (GCC) for the second half of 2026. Held back-to-back and co-located at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian), the two events form a complete industry exchange matrix that combines "underlying computing infrastructure + intelligent computing terminal applications" in a mutually reinforcing way.

Open AI Infra Community Debuts at 2026 Global Computing Conference (CGC) & 2026 Consumer Electronics Innovation Conference (CEIC) — Kick-Off Ceremony Successfully Concluded
Launched by GCC in 2024, the Global Computing Conference (CGC) is the flagship annual summit in the global computing arena. Previous editions have brought together academicians and experts from around the world, top corporate leaders, industry pioneers, and technology decision-makers, focusing on tracks such as computing power, AI, chips, liquid cooling, and embodied intelligence — building a comprehensive platform for delivering forward-looking insights, releasing benchmark achievements, and enabling high-level business matchmaking. This year's CGC will be held on October 21, under the theme "Megawatts Igniting a New Foundation, Intelligent Computing Empowering Thousands of Industries." Adopting a "1 Main Forum + 5 Sub-Forums + GCC Exclusive Exhibition Zone" structure, the event will focus on innovation in megawatt-class intelligent computing infrastructure. The OAII Community under GCC will host two dedicated sub-forums on high-voltage computing power and the SuperPod ecosystem, addressing core industry pain points in computing power supply and cluster coordination. More information on CGC 2026 will be announced soon.

As a brand-new consumer electronics event rooted in China and oriented to the world, CEIC is jointly organized by GCC and other members of the "6+1" international standards organization coalition in the Hetao region. Centered on a "new root-technology cluster" and driven by "internationally leading standards," the conference guides end-to-end innovation from chips to products, powers upgrades across all-scenario products and consumer experiences, and jointly promotes global industry and ecosystem prosperity. CEIC 2026 will be held from October 22 to 24, focusing on six domains: intelligent terminals, smart mobility, smart living, innovative applications, infrastructure, and ecosystem cooperation. A range of activities will be organized around technology, standards, and industry ecosystems, including high-level conferences, professional exhibitions, new product launches, and innovation "pitch-and-invest" sessions. More than 500 enterprises are expected to exhibit. For more information, please visit the official website: www.ceic.net.

CGC focuses on breakthroughs in underlying computing power technologies, while CEIC carries the deployment of computing power in end-user products. The GCC-OAII Community will make a major appearance at both events, providing an integrated platform for the whole industry to showcase capabilities, exchange ideas, and pursue cooperation. Registration and exhibition partnerships for both events are now open. The organizing committees warmly invite industry partners to stay tuned and actively participate, joining the OAII Community in exploring new opportunities for deploying AI-era computing power in real-world applications.
