Important Progress in New Standard Project Proposals

At the meeting, two new standard proposals were submitted for project initiation.

The first proposal, Technical Requirements for Cryptographic Applications in Confidential Computing, was presented by Researcher Qin Yu from the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences. This standard aims to define the technical requirements for cryptographic applications in confidential computing under different technical routes.

The second proposal, Technical Requirements for Trusted Data Spaces Based on Confidential Computing, was presented by Dr. Zhang Lei from Nanhu Laboratory. This standard focuses on using confidential computing technologies to address security and trust challenges in cross-domain data circulation, sharing, and usage.

Participants held in-depth discussions on the necessity and value of initiating these new standards.

Key Research Project Officially Launched

The meeting also officially launched the Research on the Confidential Computing Standards System, led by the China Electronics Standardization Institute.

This research project will plan the development path of confidential computing standards from a holistic perspective and promote the formation of a systematic and comprehensive standards framework.

Significant Progress in Standards Under Development

For ongoing standard projects, two standards Technical Requirements and Evaluation Methods for Confidential Computing Platforms and Technical Requirements for Confidential Computing Remote Attestation Services have entered the public comment stage. Feedback and suggestions from all relevant parties are welcome.

Annual Standards Work Plan Released
