From September 23 to 26, Uzbekistan ICT WEEK was grandly held. The Global Computing Consortium (GCC), as China’s first international industry and standards organization in the computing field, was invited to participate in the exhibition and attracted more than a thousand international visitors for exchanges. During the event, GCC, together with member organizations including Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT), jointly released the Global Computing Industry Development Research Report (Central Asia Special Edition), and delivered a keynote speech titled AI Computing Industry Pulse: Trends, Practices, and Opportunities.
As the largest annual information technology event in Uzbekistan, ICT WEEK has been held for 21 years, witnessing the development and transformation of information and communications technology in Uzbekistan and the broader Central Asian region. The event brings together many internationally renowned enterprises and features forums, summits, and thematic seminars to explore the latest trends, innovative applications, and solutions in global information and communications technology.
GCC’s exhibition this time focused on its three core business areas: “new architecture, new standards, and new ecosystem.” GCC also presented more than 20 major achievements, comprehensively showcasing its standardization results, architectural practices, and ecosystem collaboration value in the field of computing infrastructure. Through practical actions, GCC injected new momentum into the collaborative development of the global computing power industry and set a new direction for the ecosystem-oriented development of the intelligent computing industry.

On September 24, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., a GCC Vice Chair unit and Platinum Member also invited to the exhibition, hosted the 2025 Digital Economy Forum themed “Information and Communications Technology and Artificial Intelligence — Turning Ideas into Digital Reality.” Hu Wenbiao, Director of International Business at the Global Computing Consortium, was invited to deliver a speech on behalf of GCC titled AI Computing Industry Pulse: Trends, Practices, and Opportunities.
The speech provided an in-depth explanation of how, amid the current wave of rapid artificial intelligence development, the computing industry is gradually moving toward a data-centric, diversified, and equal computing architecture. It also explained how large-scale computing power, represented by cloud-edge-device collaboration, is profoundly influencing industry digitalization and the development of human society. Against this backdrop, GCC, as a global consortium organization, shoulders an important mission. It will continue to strengthen and expand the concept and meaning of new computing architectures overseas, connect global member partners, and promote the innovative development of the global computing industry.
In the future, GCC will continue to focus on its three core business areas: consensus on new architectures, development of new standards, and growth of new ecosystems. Together with global members and industry partners, GCC will promote the prosperity of the computing industry ecosystem and provide solid support and strong assurance for building a globally intelligent and efficient digital and intelligent society.
