Meeting Topic: Enabling Distributed Storage to Cross the Boundaries of x86
Start Date: 2026-04-02 14:00

Location: Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Beijing KunTai Jiasheng Hotel
With the development and evolution of technology, distributed storage has moved toward a compute-storage separated architecture. The situation where capacity and bandwidth were previously locked by the physical boundaries of x86 single nodes has slightly improved, but issues such as slow cross-node I/O, slow lock waiting, and slow replica synchronization still remain. This event explores whether, with the help of new technologies and minimal modifications to existing hardware, we can increase SSD bandwidth utilization of distributed storage by 60%, improve system IOPS by 25%~35%, and accelerate EC reconstruction speed by 6 times.
